The UC Davis Koret Shelter Medicine Program uses veterinary science to protect the health of shelter animals so that more may survive to find lifelong homes. The interactive animation presents the roadmap for a partner university collaboration.
The objectives of the Flash interactive presentation included:

• Provide a means of presenting the program objectives, coordinating organizations, and roadmap to program supports
• Use the presentation on the flatscreen kiosk at the UC Davis clinic facility to inform visitors about program goals and overview of shelter medicine support for provided by the program for shelters through the United States

This interactive presentation exhibits following creative features:

• Bold black, red, and yellow colors convey the dire state of animals in most shelters in the United States
• A large U.S. map builds the core image for the presentation, demonstrating the importance of multiple partnering University shelter medicine programs throughout the country
• Storyboarded process graphics provide easy communication of more complex coordination topics that are key in shelter practice improvements and the timely dissemination of crucial health information that could be used to save lives
